Check a page
What it checks
- Trackers in the page source: Google Analytics / Ads (gtag), Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Microsoft Clarity, Matomo, Segment, Mixpanel, HubSpot, Intercom, VWO, Crazy Egg
- Consent gate: known consent management platforms (Cookiebot, OneTrust, CookieYes, Complianz, Borlabs, iubenda, Usercentrics, Osano, tarteaucitron, Klaro, Termly), Google Consent Mode v2 signals, and script type="text/plain" consent blocking
- Red flags: tracking scripts that load unconditionally in the initial HTML with no consent mechanism anywhere on the page
- Basics: a reachable privacy policy link, and whether cookies are mentioned at all
Honest limitation: this is a static source check. A consent platform can also block scripts at runtime with JavaScript, which leaves fewer traces in the raw HTML. The checker detects the major CMPs by their markers, but treat the result as a strong engineering signal, not legal advice.
